Sources and privacy

Good food.
Clear information.

Find My Next Bite is a food discovery project of People and Planet Consulting Inc. We help curious eaters explore plant-based foods, traditional fermentation and newer ways of making food, with practical routes to buy what interests them.

How we choose and check a listing

We use food makers and merchants as sources for product identity, descriptions and stated availability. Each food page names its sources and the date checked. A merchant listing or store location does not guarantee stock, delivery to your address or current price. Check the merchant before ordering, and the current package for ingredients and allergens.

Meal ideas are editorial suggestions. We have not independently taste-tested these products. Illustrations show serving ideas, not product packaging. Inclusion does not establish a health benefit or an environmental result for a particular food.

What is available now

You can browse the food directory, follow merchant links and save a shortlist on this device. New consumer and company accounts are not open yet. Suggest a correction, product or partnership by emailing David at People and Planet. We check supporting evidence before changing a listing.

Device saves and optional location

Your shortlist stores product identifiers in this browser's local storage. You can clear it with the clear-shortlist control in the homepage privacy panel, or through your browser settings. It does not synchronize across devices. A shared shortlist link contains the selected product identifiers and is readable by anyone with that link.

A city search filters our small set of known places. Device location is requested only when you choose it. The page uses coordinates for approximate distance in memory and does not send them to our server or include them in activity counts. Merchant and map links open services with their own privacy practices.

Activity and technical data

We store daily totals for product-link clicks, saves and partnership-email clicks. These counts contain an action type, a product identifier when relevant, and a date. They contain no account identifier, search text, email body or precise location. Repeated actions and bots can contribute to the totals.

We also count requests that identify themselves as search, answer or training agents, by agent name and page. That record holds no address, no query text and no visitor identifier, and it is deleted after 30 days. We keep it to check whether automated systems can reach the public pages, and not to profile a reader. The report is generated for operators and is not published.

We count arrivals at four public page types — the home page, the food directory, each food page and this page — as daily totals. An arrival is counted when the request does not come from another page of this site and the reader is not an automated agent. That record holds a date, a page type and a number, is deleted after 90 days, and records no cookie, address or visitor identifier. It cannot tell us how many people arrived, and we do not present it as if it could.

The application uses essential security cookies. It has no advertising tracker. The host processes connection information to deliver and protect the service. Operational errors may produce technical records. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.

How we fund the project

We are exploring sponsorship and affiliate links. Paid placements and approved affiliate links are labelled where they appear. Payment does not change ordinary product information or give a company control over reader reviews. We do not sell food or process card payments on this site, and we make no audience or sales guarantee.

Payment supports a labelled placement. It does not change ordinary listings or customer reviews.

We publish about food because a world that stops wasting most of the sunlight it feeds to animals is a world with more energy, more land for nature and cleaner water.

Current ordinary merchant links do not earn a commission. A future approved arrangement will be disclosed on the relevant link.

Reading, quoting and citing this site

Automated readers are welcome. llms.txt lists the machine-readable addresses: a sitemap, a markdown version of each page, the published catalogue as JSON, and a read-only query interface described by an API catalogue.

Every claim on this site is dated, and the checked date matters more than the page. Quote a listing with its date, and do not treat a listed market as current stock, delivery to a particular address, or a price. A page can stay live after its evidence has aged.

You may quote and cite this site with attribution, for example: “Find My Next Bite, People and Planet Consulting Inc., https://findmynextbite.food/, evidence checked September 17, 2026.” Please do not present a listing as an endorsement by the maker or the merchant, and do not state that a product is available when the dated evidence is old.

Ordinary listings are not for sale and payment does not buy a citation. Paid placements are labelled where they appear.
